CrossFit Reading is a proud UK affiliate of We are the only facility of this type in the area and have a dedicated and passionate group of members. We offer a range of services that cover every aspect of health, fitness and strength & conditioning.  Our sessions are run from our purpose facility at Hodsoll Road, Reading, RG1 7HL.  Please look through our schedule to see what suits your requirements.  All results from the sessions are recorded and kept on our forum.  This allows people to keep an up to date log of their progressions.

What is Crossfit you may ask yourself? CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program that uses functional movements in a workout scenario carried out at relative high intensity. 

CrossFit builds increased capabilities in the ten recognised physical skills that make up the fitness individual. Without near equal capabilities in cardiovascular endurance, respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy.  Individuals are limited in the functionality needed for their purpose be that sport, health or fitness.

Our facility has no machines.  We have kitted out our facility with kettlebells, medicine balls, clubs, olympic weights, skipping ropes, plyometric boxes, power racks, tyres, sandbags and YOU.  You will learn and use gymnastics, olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, kettlebell training and advanced bodyweight drills.  You will run, jump and throw and you will do this because it is good for you.  It benefits your health, gives you longevity and keeps the care homes away in later life. 

At CrossFit Reading we program for real life. Sure people can be big with defined muscles but can they catch the guy that just stole their wife's purse. Equally you may be able to run marathons but are you strong enough to fight off a would-be attacker? You will train for every eventuality and be ready should they happen.
